Jorko: Despite losing to Spirit, I'd still give my debut a perfect 10/10

The revamped Liquid got off to a strong start in the online stage of the BLAST Bounty, defeating Vitality and G2, but at the LAN stage, Spirit proved to be a tough opponent to handle.

Despite this, Jorko remains optimistic about the team's debut, stating that he would give it a "perfect 10 out of 10" rating.

He also talked about his personal performance, the upcoming Stake Ranked journey, and his little tricks for creating a fun atmosphere.

Q: First, I'd like to express my regret over this loss. However, considering the opponent's strength, I'm sure you can find some positives in today's performance?

Jorko: Overall, I think the rounds were pretty close, and it ultimately came down to individual macro decisions. Maybe in some situations I over-peeked a bit. Maybe I played a bit too fast. But overall, I feel like we were mostly on the same page, and the rounds were quite close.

Q: This is your first tournament. You defeated Vitality and G2, but couldn't take down Spirit. This is definitely a solid debut for the team, and you've also earned a lot of VRS points. How would you evaluate your first three matches wearing the Liquid jersey?

Jorko: Honestly, I'm very happy. 10 out of 10.

Q: You played especially well on Dust 2 today, and your performance throughout the series was outstanding. How do you feel about personally being able to compete against a team like Spirit?

Jorko: I mean, I feel good, but I still made quite a few macro mistakes on my part, and I'm really not happy with that. So I think next time I need to fix them, and maybe my chances of winning will be a bit higher.

Q: Do you think this is just something you master through repeated practice?

Jorko: Yes, I would say repeated practice is definitely necessary. And the self-discipline to be patient. I really feel it ultimately comes down to patience. I always want to be doing something.

Q: I have to ask about that party popper you brought. JT said you're a very young guy who has brought a lot of fresh energy to the team. What's it like being the mood-maker among such a group of experienced, battle-hardened veterans?

Jorko: I mean, I'm just being myself, that's it. I'm just being myself. I really don't want my teammates to feel frustrated, down, or sad. Because those are all negative emotions, and I really don't want everyone to feel that way. I just do my best to make sure their minds aren't focused on that, so they can concentrate on the match.

Q: You're obviously flying to Stockholm now for the Stake event, where the competition will be significantly weaker. Are you looking forward to that tournament and to not having to face donk?

Jorko: Of course. I mean, even though the opponents there will be lower-tier teams, I still think they'll be tough to handle. I feel we shouldn't take anything for granted; we just need to stay cautious and play our own game.
