paiN Hit Rock Bottom in Shame Before Making Roster

According to Dust2.com.br, following their bottom-place exit at BLAST Open Porto, paiN will make their second roster change within a week—benching piriajr and bringing in academy player Tatu to take his spot, at least in the short term.

This is also a continuation of paiN's recent roster changes. They had just benched vsm and replaced him with another academy player, Rkzinho.

paiN's season has gotten off to an extremely dismal start: bottoming out at BLAST Open Porto, finishing last in Stake Ranked Episode 3, and being eliminated early from EWC. After their exit from BLAST Open Porto, captain biguzera gave a rather harsh assessment of the team's internal atmosphere, stating bluntly, "As a team, we no longer trust each other."

This benching also marks the end of piriajr's nine-month stint in the starting lineup. The 23-year-old joined from Bounty Hunters in January, posting an impressive 1.32 Rating with his former team. However, he was unable to maintain that form on the international stage, averaging a 1.03 Rating during his time with paiN.

Tatu, who is replacing him, has been with the paiN academy for two years and is the most experienced player in the academy roster. The 22-year-old has a consistent average rating of 1.07 this year. However, the report does not specify whether this is a long-term replacement or just for the next few tournaments.
