MIBR will make their new roster's first offline appearance at the Fission Universe S3 Suzhou event. New recruit tomaszin stated that although the team has only had one week of practice together, his teammates quickly helped him feel comfortable.
Before the first match against The MongolZ, the Argentine rifleman spoke to HLTV about his adaptation after moving from BESTIA to MIBR, the position change, and his goals with the new team. For him, the biggest change wasn't the gameplay, but rather the language used in in-game communication.
Q: You've just joined MIBR, and this is also the first offline event for the new lineup. How was the training camp this time? How are you adapting so far?
tomaszin：We actually only trained for a week, but my teammates made me feel very comfortable around them.
I feel the training has gone well, so now I'm looking forward to officially starting this competition.
Q：How does your role at MIBR differ from what it was at BESTIA?
tomaszin：In a few maps, my location has shifted a bit, and I'm currently struggling a bit to get used to these new spots. However, from what I can see, things are going pretty well so far.
Q: Previously, you led BESTIA to qualify for the Austin Major and achieved a 1.43 rating during the MRQ stage, but ultimately couldn't participate due to visa issues, with Legacy taking the Major spot instead. How did you feel at that time?
tomaszin: I was quite happy at the time, but it's a shame we couldn't truly go to the competition venue in the end.
Now, as I try to recall more specifically how I felt at that time, it's actually not so clear in my memory anymore. Overall, I was still happy, though it did leave some regrets in the end.
Q: After joining MIBR, what goals have you set for the remainder of this year?
tomaszin: As I mentioned on social media before, I hope to help MIBR achieve the club's goals.
I will also do my utmost to win the competition, as this is my most important personal goal. At the same time, I hope to continue becoming a better player over time.
Q: Besides the change in location, what is the biggest difference for you after joining MIBR from BESTIA after three years?
tomaszin：Undoubtedly, it's the change in language that makes the biggest difference, but I'm adapting quite well now.
On top of that, my teammates here have more experience. I don't want to say they're "better players" outright, but they've been through enough.
So I think the biggest change is mainly the language, and the more experienced teammates I have around me now.
