13,900 blatantly cheating accounts still haven't been banned by VAC?
Recently, the VAC-BAN website tracked a leaked 2019 database of paid CS cheats: out of approximately 1.12 million Steam accounts in the database, around 727,000 had received bans by September 2026, but 393,771 accounts still had no VAC/Game Ban records, with about 17% of them having played CS2 within the last two weeks.
*It is important to note that this does not mean Valve "detected 390,000 cheats in 2019 but did not ban them." This list came from a database leaked by cheat providers, recording Steam accounts that appeared on computers where the cheat was installed, and it may also include main accounts or other accounts not actually used for cheating.
