Q: After CAC 2026, you mentioned that your performance against The MongolZ was one of the top three in your career. How would you evaluate your own performance in today's finals against G2?
LATTO: I think I could rank first, because this is the finals. So I feel like, this is the best I've played.
Q: This is Legacy's third championship in China, and your third MVP medal here. China seems to always bring out the best in you and your team. Why do you think you've been so successful here?
LATTO: I don't know either. It feels amazing for the audience to cheer for us, everyone supporting us, it's really great. How to say it, I think this is China magic. It's really different here, we perform so well here.
Q: You mentioned back in June that BobZ, adrrr, and arT helped you a lot mentally. How much has your mindset improved since then? Do you feel better prepared to handle high-pressure situations now?
LATTO: Yes. I feel they helped me a lot, and also helped the team a lot. That match against MIBR was really tough. If we hadn't put in the work on this aspect, we might have lost that map and been sent straight home. So I think we've made great progress, and they're still helping us now. I think it's really effective.
Q: You've been teaming up with dumau since 2021. What has allowed this partnership to continue improving after all these years?
LATTO：Yeah. me and dumau, how can I put it, we just love playing together. he knows everything about me, I know everything about him. that's what partners are. we made some great history together, and now we can show everyone what we're capable of and prove that we can stand at the top.
Q: You, dumau, and try have reunited after 00NATION. Besides having more experience, how has your understanding of the game and playstyle changed compared to before?
LATTO: I think we were still kids when the three of us played together back then. Now about four years have passed, try has changed, dumau has changed, and I have changed too. We are more experienced now, I believe that makes the biggest difference. We have all been learning and growing these years.
Q: You placed third at EWC, Porto exited in the group stage, and now you've won another championship. These different results have shown you what this team needs to perform consistently?
LATTO：I don't know either. After Try joined, I feel like our team has changed a lot. He's very stable in his position. This has helped us become a more consistent team, and that's the key.
Q: You were ranked 30th on HLTV last year. To make the list this year, what do you think you need to improve? With two MVPs and two EVPs already under your belt, are you confident about breaking into HLTV's Top 20 this year?
LATTO: I'm confident. For me, making it into the world's top 20 has always been a dream. Getting into the top 30 last year already surprised me greatly. I told myself that as long as I maintain the same mindset and continue to grow in the game, I can make it into the top 20. That's my goal. The team has helped me a lot, and if I can achieve this, it will also be credit to the team.
