Molodoy discusses eye issues: can't look at bright lights for long periods, will

This Kazakhstani sniper had previously complained about this issue on multiple occasions. FURIA defeated MOUZ at the STARLADDER tournament. After the match, molodoy spoke with him during Gaules' live stream and once again complained about his eye problems. The young player reiterated that he couldn't look at bright lights for extended periods and mentioned that he would get an eye exam to further investigate the issue: "I played the third map without glasses... I still have some problems with my eyes and need to get them checked, but I didn't have time. After this tournament, I'll return to Kazakhstan and get an eye exam. Overall, I feel pressure in both eyes, and maybe there's something else wrong. I can't look at bright lights for too long, perhaps I'm nearsighted or farsighted, I don't know," he added.

He recently started wearing glasses and mentioned in a previous personal video: Hi everyone. How are you all doing? I've got something new in my life—I got (started wearing) glasses. So, that's it for now.

Despite the difficulties, molodoy still delivered a strong performance, helping FURIA defeat MOUZ and remain in the tournament.

In response to this, a Russian esports media outlet condemned Furia Club:

He doesn't even know if he's farsighted or nearsighted :))) ——this can be checked in a minute and a half. It's absolutely mind-blowing. The player can't get it checked, despite traveling around the world, he has to go all the way back to Kazakhstan to have his vision examined. Just forfeit the match and send him to an eye doctor. This is practically a prank on the player's health. They've decided to sacrifice the player's health during the final struggle of FalleN's career. Just brilliant.
