INFINITE announced the official termination of the contract with Dytor, and the 23-year-old rifleman has become a free agent. After experiencing a period of fluctuating performance, INFINITE is now looking for a new fifth player.
"Throughout our journey for international glory, he has been a vital member," INFINITE stated on the X platform. "As of today, he becomes a free agent, ready to take on new challenges. Thank you, Dytor. See you on the field."
Dytor joined INFINITE earlier this year when the team underwent a major overhaul, transitioning from a fully Romanian lineup to an international roster, alongside sl3nd and kreaz.
Shortly after forming the new roster, they achieved impressive results, securing three first-place finishes in the United21 League Season 46, Parken Challenger Championship Season 5, and Esplay Elite Gaming Cup. Their global VRS rankings briefly rose to 35th.
However, recent results have begun to decline, with the team dropping to the borderline of the top 50 in global VRS rankings, and in the process, missing out on several important offline qualifier qualifications.
INFINITE needs to fill the roster gap as soon as possible—they will face Liquid in the first round of the Logitech G Play Connect 2026 on September 18, 2026.
