FragPunk 3 Tournament EVP and All-Star Lineup Announced

Legacy's victory in China is rewarded again, and n1ssim secures an EVP.

MVP latto

Legacy's success in the Far East is closely tied to the rise of star rifler latto. At 23 years old, the player boasts three MVP medals—all from China—alongside two major EVP titles, as latto makes 2026 a year to remember.

His performance in the grand finals was outstanding, achieving a 2.25 rating on Dust2, bringing a perfect ending to an already dazzling tournament. With a playoff rating of 1.45, 138 round wins, and an overall KPRW of 1.05, it was impossible for anyone else to take the medal away from Suzhou.

EVP Israeli player NertZ

Since IEM Rio 2024, NertZ hasn't secured an EVP, but he shone at FPG, achieving a rating of 1.30 or higher on every map across all seven of G2's matches. His playoff average rating was 1.22, with the grand final at 1.23 (ADR 107), while none of his teammates exceeded a 1.01 rating at that time. If you look at his map data on the MVP chart, you wouldn't find it surprising. He maintained an overall ADR of 89.9 and had a rating above 1.00 in 84% of the maps, further highlighting his consistency. As the rookie of the year in 2023, NertZ didn't advance as expected after leaving ENCE, but at FPG 3, he might just be hitting his stride.

EVP Brazilian player n1ssim

As a dedicated anchor point, n1ssim spent the summer on the substitute bench but returned to the roster after Legacy failed to find a replacement, continuing to steadily progress as a support-oriented role. However, as he proved at the 2025 CAC, and as evidenced by our selection of him in the anchor point position for the PGL Masters, EWC, and CAC 2026 All-Star rosters three times, he indeed possesses strong kill potential. Before the final match, despite receiving far fewer resources than latto, his performance was on par with latto's, putting him squarely in contention for the MVP title. Although he ultimately did not win the award, his peak performances against G2, MIBR, and FURIA, along with an ADR of 83.3 and a Rating of 1.20 at the end of the event, earned him a compelling EVP.

EVP Brazilian player nqz

nqz, like NertZ, waited a long time between two EVPs, but after securing a nomination in Austin, he claimed another EVP here, standing out in MIBR's run to the semifinals. nqz finished with a Rating of 1.21, topping the charts on one-third of MIBR's maps, earning three MVP awards, posting a playoff Rating of 1.25, and achieving a +13.5% round win rate differential. The decisive Inferno map against Legacy cast a slight shadow over an otherwise outstanding tournament, but regardless, his EVP was well-deserved.

EVP Israeli player HeavyGod

HeavyGod’s journey with G2 from the losers’ bracket to the semifinals saw him maintain a rating above 1.08 for nine consecutive maps. When including his 1.71 rating on the decisive map against BETBOOM, he delivered five individual map MVP performances. His rating on winning maps stood at 1.30, tying with MVP contender NertZ. Had he been as strong on the defensive side (0.97) as he was on the offensive side (1.23), HeavyGod’s ranking might have been higher. This, along with his overall event rating of 1.10, highlights some inconsistency throughout the tournament, where six underperforming maps affected his evaluation. Nevertheless, the Israeli player accomplished enough to earn his second EVP of the year, following his first Major EVP win at Cologne.

EVP Brazilian player insani

Finally, MIBR's star player insani also joined the list, posting a 1.33 Rating and 1.09 KPRW on decider maps to help his team reach the semifinals. He struggled in the closing stages of the semifinal against Legacy, but his performance prior to that was so outstanding that his EVP was already secured during the quarterfinal against Alliance. insani's first EVP of the year came from the CAC, so like latto, he too found success in mid-tier tournaments in China as MIBR looks to push their star player into year-end Top 20 discussions.

Honorable Mention

dumau and try both came close to earning EVP honors, but neither stood out sufficiently in the playoffs or winners' bracket to secure a spot on the list alongside their teammates. Magnojez and d1Ledez performed exceptionally well for BETBOOM, helping the team advance as group leaders, but they would need to do more in the semifinals to convert that contribution into nominations. KSCERATO came close to an EVP after several impressive maps, but a slow start (only a 0.96 rating against GamerLegion) and a weak finish (a 0.78 rating on the second map against G2) left him just short.

Molodoy followed closely but performed much worse against TOP 10 teams, creating a significant gap between him and the EVP line. MaSvAl and tenzy performed well in magic, but not enough to earn a nomination for the group stage. cobrazera achieved a 1.34 Rating after returning to The MongolZ roster, even as the team struggled around him. Twistzz, phzy, and JamYoung also had noteworthy performances in the group stage, despite their teams' lack of success.

All-Star players Latto, arT, and n1ssim easily earned their spot on our All-Star roster thanks to their roles in the Legacy championship victory, meaning HeavyGod didn't make the cut. As the breakthrough player, NertZ far surpassed insani to claim that position, leaving only the sniper role to fill. While try and molodoy both competed, only one sniper deserved EVP recognition—that was nqz.
