In an interview at BLAST's Porto event, Team Falcons coach zonic explained how the internal operational system of their CS2 roster was established. The entire team's gameplay revolves around m0NESY, who is considered the core member of the squad.
zonic: Our coaching staff has done an outstanding job in maintaining fairness and transparency, and the hierarchy within the team is very clear. m0NESY is the core player the entire team is playing for. I believe this should be the case. Of course, there are times when this principle isn't fully adhered to or when he doesn't receive the necessary support. But this has always been the case. And I believe this is extremely important when a team is filled with players who have individual ambitions. It is incredibly important to have a clear understanding of how this team operates. I would say we've handled this aspect perfectly: everyone knows very clearly, overall, who we are fighting for.
Team Falcons will begin their BLAST Porto knockout stage journey from the quarterfinals. After losing to MOUZ in the match for the top seed position, they will have to face G2. This match will take place on Friday evening this week.
m0NESY ranks second on the BLAST Porto group stage MVP list. He concluded this stage with an average rating of 1.4 across nine maps. The top spot on the list goes to Team Spirit rifleman donk, who achieved a rating of 1.62 across six matches.
