After FURIA defeated MIBR at StarSeries Fall, YEKINDAR revealed that he has handed the calling duties he had previously taken on back to FalleN.
Previously, in preparation for FalleN's retirement at the end of the year, FURIA had tried having YEKINDAR take on some in-game leading duties, with him calling the T side on Anubis, Cache, and Ancient. However, YEKINDAR has stated multiple times that he might be willing to try becoming an in-game leader in the future, but not now, as he still believes he can provide value as a rifler.
YEKINDAR: Credit where credit is due, I'm not calling anymore, and I hope I won't have to do it again in the future.
We've tried before, just to figure out: Is this really what I want to do? Is this what the team needs?
In the end, I concluded that this brings way too much cortisol, I don't want to be the caller. So I told FalleN: "You take back the calling on these maps." (laughs)
Then he said, "Of course, I'll bring it back, no problem."
Of course, sometimes if I sense something, I might still call some things. But most of the time, especially in difficult situations, FalleN is always in charge.
It also depends on how you define "calling." FalleN is mostly responsible for the overall approach and ideas, while I can help with some fine-tuning and how to execute that approach. But it's mainly FalleN.
