The Danish organization is actively pursuing an immediate double roster change. Multiple sources have told HLTV that Astralis is in the market for replacements for HooXi and jabbi.
The timing of this roster change will shock many, as the team just won Stake Ranked Episode 4 in Barcelona on Saturday, ending a nearly seven-year LAN title drought.
HLTV has learned that Astralis is taking steps to avoid losing its core roster for free — the contracts of HooXi, jabbi and Staehr are all set to expire.
HLTV has learned that jabbi's contract expires at the end of November, while HooXi's runs until the end of this year. Staehr signed a contract extension with Astralis in March 2025, "until 2027". Sources say negotiations between the Danish organization and the players have stalled, and one player on Astralis' shortlist is siuhy, who recently left Liquid after three months on the bench. The former MOUZ in-game leader is looking for a new challenge to revive his career after an underwhelming spell with the American team. After winning in Barcelona, Astralis broke into the top ten of the global VRS and, according to HLTV's latest projections, have all but locked in a spot at the PGL Singapore Major. Astralis did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
