PGL Qualifier Cheating Scandal: acidhouze Disqualified, Match to Be Replayed

PGL has disqualified acidhouze from the PGL Bucharest 2027 Open Qualifiers due to competitive integrity issues.

Inner Circle Academy faced acidhouze during the qualifiers but forfeited halfway through the match. The organization stated on X that they chose to forfeit "to prevent cheaters from profiting from betting."

Following acidhouze's disqualification, Inner Circle Academy has been reinstated to participate in the qualifiers.

While playing in the PGL Bucharest 2027 qualifiers, the InnerCircle academy team ran into cheating from their opponent acidhouze and forfeited in anger, subsequently losing quite a lot of points due to the forfeit, as well as losing the match. The IC academy team then released the suspect POV of this team, which is very classic - only going for kills when they know where people are, not clearing empty spots, pretending to play normally otherwise, with the crosshair kept at head level.

Subsequently, PGL stepped in, punished the cheaters, and reinstated the IC academy team's eligibility.

The acidhouze team our academy team faced in the PGL Bucharest 2027 Open Qualifier has been disqualified for cheating, and the qualifier itself will be replayed 👏 Huge thanks to the community for stepping up and helping us bring attention to this. Special thanks to @pglesports for stepping in swiftly 🙏 We support fair play and an honest competitive environment at all levels of CS2 🤝
