Tournament Format: How it Works
The CS Asia Championships 2026 will use a high-pressure format that rewards consistency but punishes a slow start.
1. Group Stage (May 20–22)
- Setup: Two groups of eight teams.
- Bracket: Double-elimination.
- Match Type: Opening matches are Best-of-1 (Bo1). All following matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3).
- Advancement: Group winners go straight to the Semifinals. 2nd and 3rd place teams move to the Quarterfinals.
2. Playoffs (May 23–24)
- Setup: Single-elimination bracket.
- Match Type: Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Bo3.
- The Grand Final: A grueling Best-of-5 (Bo5) marathon to determine the champion.
Key Players to Watch
With the absence of teams like NAVI and Vitality, the door is wide open for a new champion. Watch out for these individuals who can take over a game:
- s1mple (BC.Game): The GOAT is back on LAN. Expect highlight reels.
- m0NESY (Falcons): Likely the fastest AWP in the building. Check out his current settings here.
- XANTARES (Aurora): If his aim is on, Aurora can beat anyone. Study his crosshair and configs to see how he does it.
