Valve Releases CS2 Cologne Major Stickers: No Capsules, New Souvenirs
The Counter-Strike 2 esports Major in Cologne, Germany will happen from June 2 to June 21. Valve has released items specifically for this event: tournament and player stickers.
The Cologne 2026 Major stickers have broken the tradition of capsules with random drops, as you can buy specific items in the game store. This change has caused chaos in the price formation—and many people are waiting for the CS2 Cologne stickers to be available on marketplaces.
Buy CS2 Stickers for the IEM Cologne Major 2026: In the Game, or After?
The collection of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 tournament items includes stickers of all 32 participating teams and each player. With different levels of quality, this makes it quite a huge set.
To buy a sticker in the game, you need to pay with Cologne 2026 tokens. They can be purchased for real-world money or earned as rewards of the Pick’Em challenge.
The trick is that Valve has made the Cologne 2026 sticker prices flexible, depending on the market demand. As a result, Gold and Foil stickers of the most popular teams and players can be unreasonably expensive.
Valve promises to adjust the pricing if the demand changes. Even refunds are possible, if a price drops significantly.
The new system excludes random drops from capsules. The downside of extreme prices should be solved with more stickers being added to the market after the event. You will be able to buy Cologne 2026 stickers on DMarket — when the marketplace has many offers, the prices naturally go down.
Souvenir Weapon Skins for CS2 IEM Cologne Major 2026
The Major 2026 in Cologne brings us no souvenir packages. Instead, Valve allows players to use any skins from their inventory and make it a tournament Souvenir.
To do so, you need to select a weapon skin, a match, and a player. The game will add respective stickers on the weapon, converting the combo into Souvenir quality as well. When the set is ready, you need to pay for the stickers on it.
The Pick’Em challenge has also been added with this CS2 update. Cologne 2026 tokens are the main reward for predicting tournament results. Valve will share 50% of all proceeds with the teams and players, including Viewer Pass and sticker sales.
