Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the European scene or just keeping an eye on rising talent in the CIS region, Nemesis CS2 (often tagged as NMSS) is a name you’ve likely seen popping up on HLTV more frequently. This organization has rapidly expanded from its UK roots to become a global force, currently fielding a highly competitive roster that’s making waves in the European Pro League and CCT Series.
In this guide, we’ll break down everything you need to know about Team Nemesis, their recent rivalries, and why their “impact” is growing so fast in Counter-Strike 2.
Who is Team Nemesis CS2?
Originally entering the scene with a heavy British influence featuring veterans like Thomas and CRUC1AL, the organization underwent a major strategic shift in early 2026. The current iteration of the team is a powerhouse primarily based in the CIS region, blending raw mechanical skill with disciplined tactical play.

Nemesis vs FORZE Reload: The Modern Rivalry
One of the most exciting matchups to track lately has been Nemesis vs FORZE Reload. These two teams have clashed multiple times in early 2026, particularly within the CCT Season 3 Europe Series.
In their most recent high-stakes encounter on January 19, 2026, Nemesis secured a clean 2-0 victory over FORZE Reload. The series showcased Nemesis’s depth:
- Map 1 (Dust2): A dominant 13-11 showing where Sdaim posted a massive 1.70 rating.
- Map 2 (Ancient): A tactical masterclass resulting in another 13-11 win to close the series.
This rivalry is a great case study in CS2 roles and how a well-structured CS2 economy can swing tight rounds in the MR12 era.
Nemesis Impact: The Women’s Roster
The organization also previously supported Nemesis Impact, an all-female squad that competed at the highest levels of the ESL Impact League. While the roster has seen transitions, their participation in the Female Pro League Season 1 helped cement the “Nemesis Impact” brand as a champion for diversity in the professional scene.
