The Original Roster: ScreaM and Nivera
The initial FUT CS2 roster generated significant buzz due to its star power. FUT Esports announced its entry in CS2 with the signing of a six-man roster, featuring ScreaM and Nivera.
The legend Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom made a return to competitive Counter-Strike 2, serving as the sixth player and a content creator. “I’ll be stepping in as both a content creator and the sixth player for the team, for now. My goal is to fully come back to competitive CS once I familiarise with the game and feel ready!” ScreaM tweeted.
However, this roster didn’t last long. On August 4th, FUT Esports released devoduvek, drac, JACKZ, Nivera, and falco.
Recent Major Appearances
FUT has started competing at the highest level. They recently participated in PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, facing off against top-tier teams. MOUZ advanced to the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 playoffs after defeating FUT, with one commentator noting that “FUT play very in your face and it caught us off-guard in some situations.”
While they haven’t broken through to the elite tier yet, their aggressive playstyle and rapid improvement suggest they could become serious contenders. If you’re looking to follow rising teams in CS2, FUT is definitely one to watch.
What’s Next for FUT CS2?
With their current roster of young, hungry players formerly from NAVI Junior, FUT has built a solid foundation for long-term success. In February 2026, FUT Esports signed trochu as an assistant coach, showing continued investment in their CS2 project.
The team’s trajectory from an unranked newcomer to a top 20 world team in under a year is remarkable. As they gain more experience at major events and continue developing their teamwork, expect FUT to push for deeper runs in premier tournaments.
