The EWC2026 knockout stage is about to kick off, and FaZe player Neityu discussed the team's recent form in a pre-match interview. He said that after a period of high-intensity training, the team is ready for the knockout stage.
When discussing potential opponents, Neityu mentioned Falcons and FaZe's former captain karrigan — if the two teams meet in the playoffs, it would be a highly anticipated showdown.
Q: What was the atmosphere like within FaZe before the EWC 2026 knockout stage started?
Neityu: The overall atmosphere is very good. We've gone through a lot of high-intensity training, but ultimately it should all pay off in the matches. I'm confident we'll play high-quality CS on stage.
Q: What do you think if FaZe faces Falcons, the team karrigan is currently on?
Neityu: I think everyone wants to face Falcons and beat them. I'm not quite sure what my teammates are thinking specifically, but there might be some unfinished business between them, so they should take this match very seriously. Either way, everyone definitely wants to beat Falcons.
Q: Who do you think is the biggest favorite to win EWC? Will there be any unexpected teams going far?
Neityu: It's interesting that almost all the strong teams were drawn into the same half of the bracket. I think the champion will come from these teams, maybe it will be us. But on the other hand, I also think things won't be that simple. There may be an unexpected team from the upper half that surprises everyone and goes very far.
