The opening match of the EWC group stage has just concluded. After a grueling battle lasting nearly an hour, BIG defeated Aurora 13-9, successfully securing a winning start in the group stage.

In the first half, Aurora clearly got off to a slow start, repeatedly making communication errors and showing positioning flaws on defense, allowing BIG to capitalize and end the half with a 7-5 score.
After switching sides for the second half, the duo of XANTARES and WICADIA started strong, helping Aurora win three consecutive rounds and briefly take an 8-7 lead, igniting hopes of a comeback. However, BIG soon demonstrated remarkable resilience, stabilizing their position through seamless teamwork, regaining control of the match's pace, and ultimately sealing the victory with a 13-9 scoreline.
It is worth noting that KYXSAN and Jimpphat once again fell short of expectations in this match: KYXSAN only posted an 8-13 KD with a Rating as low as 0.70, ranking at the bottom of the match; Jimpphat was equally cold, finishing with a 0.78 Rating (13-13 KD). In the previous BLAST Bounty tournament, K3 and Jimmy also delivered the worst performances, resulting in Aurora's first-round exit.

Currently, the Aurora team has yet to demonstrate ideal chemistry, and their integration process clearly still has a long way to go. Hopefully, Aurora can regain their form in the losers' bracket.
