This Russian sniper has committed his future to the Saudi organization. Falcons announced on Monday that they have signed a multi-year contract extension with m0NESY running until 2030.
This Russian sniper joined the Saudi organization in a blockbuster transfer in April 2025, averaging a 1.29 Rating during his tenure.
Despite excellent individual performances, the 21-year-old took a long time to break his title drought with Falcons — he did so in spectacular fashion in June, winning the IEM Cologne Major and claiming the MVP award after a stunning individual performance.
With m0NESY's future settled, Falcons can now turn their attention to defending their Major title in Singapore.
Their next event will be tomorrow's Thunderpick World Championship, with IEM Beijing also on the team's schedule before the Major.
During this time, a little funny anecdote also happened:
KRL learned in advance about m0NESY's contract renewal with Falcons, stating that a T1 organization is making a strong push to sign m0NESY, with negotiations entering an advanced stage. An official announcement is expected soon. The community has erupted, speculating about where m0NESY will go.
Then Falcons teased their official announcement, titled Ilya @FLCm0NESY, thank you for everything, making it look like a farewell. However, the video content was about a contract extension until 2030...
So that's it, m0NESY will continue to play alongside NiKo, dedicating himself to Falcons until 2030.
