Spinx has just won an MVP, finally shaking off the title of "King of EVPs." He previously had multiple EVPs but no MVP, and this time he finally claimed his very first MVP medal.
Aside from his standout performance right after transferring to MOUZ, Spinx's subsequent play gradually became unremarkable. However, in the BLAST finals, Spinx delivered a god-like performance with dominant fragging, posting an impressive KD of +40.
On the other hand, torzsi, who was highly likely to win the MVP, missed out on the award due to Spinx's exceptional performance. Although torzsi's Rating remained 0.02 higher than Spinx's, Spinx's standout performance in the finals ultimately cost torzsi the MVP title. However, torzsi already has one MVP medal.
Here's a little anecdote about Spinx: when Valve launched the "Knife Forging" event last year, Spinx, citing the plummeting value of his inventory, announced he would "completely exit the CS market, the era of skins is over," and finally added, "Nice meeting you. May we all pursue our dreams and shine in our own ways."
2025 Spinx: I've never felt happy buying skins... The era of skins is over.
Spinx in 2026: Wow, it's actually so good!
