For the second consecutive year, a CS2 tournament will be held on an aircraft carrier. The Brazilian tournament organizer, the Rio de Janeiro State Esports Federation (FERJEE), has announced a collegiate CS event to be hosted aboard a Brazilian aircraft carrier. The tournament will take place aboard the NAM Atlântico, an aircraft carrier that operates fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, and serves as the flagship of the Brazilian Navy.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude next week, with a prize pool of approximately $488 to be contested by multiple university teams, and is part of the larger Rio Innovation Week Tech Festival.
The Imperial that won the 2025 Circuito FERJEE
Last year, the NAM Atlântico hosted two tournaments: the women's event Lótus Challenge 2025, won by MIBR Female, and the $44,000 tournament Circuito FERJEE 2025, where Imperial defeated ODDIK to claim the championship.
