The BCG owner's team had just qualified for the Major when he heard the tragic news of his father's passing. Going through an emotional rollercoaster, he tweeted to express his feelings.
“Today, I fell from the best day of my life to the worst day.
For four years, I have been chasing a dream, building a CS team, fighting through setbacks, criticism, and moments when people didn't believe in us or me.

Today, that dream finally came true. BC Game Esports has a great chance to make it to the Major. I was celebrating, doing interviews tonight, experiencing what I have dreamed of since I was a child for many years. Four hours later, after the news about the Major, I received the news of my father's sudden passing, which I still cannot believe.
In just a few hours, I went from celebrating the chance to live my CS dream to losing my father and my best friend.
But none of this compares to the people we have in our lives. Life can change in seconds, and suddenly, nothing else matters. So please take care of the people you love, call them, spend time with them, tell them what they mean to you, and don't wait until it's too late. To everyone in the CS community, whether you have supported us, criticized us, or competed against us, thank you.
This is not to seek sympathy for me, but to remind each other to support one another and not take our loved ones for granted.
This Major will forever have a different meaning for me from now on.”
