Falcons player m0NESY discussed his journey through the CS2 playoffs at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals in Porto. He expressed satisfaction with the results and was pleased with the team's vengeance against Legacy.
Q：Do you realize that if you lose, you'll have to face Vitality as losers?
m0NESY: I didn't know about this before, and I didn't really think about it (laughs). To be honest, I love these tense matches—those life-or-death moments. If you lose, you go straight home. But I'm really happy we made it to the playoffs. Now we can just slack off. Just kidding, we'll give it our all to beat MOUZ (laughs). But seriously, I'm really glad we advanced. It's very important for us. We've been striving to maintain high standards and improve ourselves. Of course, it's great to get revenge on Legacy and settle the score from EWC 2026. I don't like losing to them twice in a row. We know how they play because their strategy hasn't changed since CAC. So I really don't want to lose to them again here.
Legacy had previously defeated Falcons 3-1 at the CAC, after which Falcons won the IEM Cologne Major 2026. At the EWC 2026, the Brazilian team eliminated them again, decisively defeating them in the quarterfinals. At the BLAST Porto event, Falcons finally achieved their long-awaited revenge.
