Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and S Space International Limited ("SeekSkins", "we", "us" or "our") governing your access to and use of https://seekskins.com and any related websites, applications, features and services (together, the "Service").

By accessing, browsing or using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, subscribe to a paid plan or use any account-based feature of the Service. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

If we discover that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or terminate that account and cancel any associated subscription in accordance with Section 18. Where local law permits use of the Service by minors with parental or guardian consent, that consent must be obtained before any purchase is made.

3. Accounts and Registration

Account registration is performed through Steam OpenID. We receive a limited profile from Steam (your Steam ID, display name and avatar) in order to create and operate your account. We never receive or store your Steam password. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account, for maintaining the security of your Steam account and any linked channels, and for ensuring that the information associated with your account is accurate and current. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

Accounts are personal. You may not sell, transfer, share or sublicense your account or subscription benefits, or use a single account to provide access to multiple unrelated users.

4. Description of Service

SeekSkins is an information and market-data platform for CS:GO and CS2 in-game items. Depending on your plan, the Service may include:

• An item database covering weapon skins, knives, gloves, cases, capsules, stickers, charms, pins, graffiti, patches, music kits, keys and agents
• Aggregated price information collected from third-party marketplaces, and price-history charts
• Market indices, market-wide trends and leaderboards
• Interactive 3D item previews
• News, editorial content and frequently asked questions
• Account-based features: collections, price alerts, a purchase request list ("wantlist"), inventory account linking, portfolio valuation and net-worth history
• Market reports, arbitrage scanning and automated (smart) alert rules on eligible plans
• Notification delivery by email and, at your option, Discord or Telegram

Informational purpose. The Service is provided for informational purposes only. It is a data and monitoring tool — not a marketplace, brokerage, trading venue, escrow service or financial adviser. We do not buy, sell, hold, transfer or custody any in-game items, and no transaction between you and any third party is executed, guaranteed or facilitated by us.

No affiliation with Valve. SeekSkins is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Valve Corporation. CS:GO, CS2, Steam and all related marks, item names and imagery are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for identification and informational purposes only.

5. Plans, Features and Service Limits

The Service is offered in a free tier and in paid tiers (currently "Plus" and "Ultra"). The features, usage allowances and limits of each tier are described on the Pricing page at https://seekskins.com/pricing, which forms part of these Terms. Allowances are applied per account and are counted on the number of active items you have configured in the relevant feature.

We may add, modify, restrict or discontinue individual features, or adjust tier allowances, in order to operate, protect or improve the Service. Where a change materially reduces the features or allowances included in a paid plan you are currently paying for, we will give you reasonable advance notice and, if you are adversely affected, you may cancel in accordance with Section 7.

6. Subscriptions, Automatic Renewal and Billing

Paid plans are sold as recurring subscriptions and may be purchased on a monthly or annual basis at the prices displayed at the time of purchase on the Pricing page.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, your subscription will be renewed for a further period of the same length and the applicable fee will be charged automatically to your original payment method. Renewal charges are made at the price in effect for your plan at the time of renewal, which will be the price you agreed to unless we have notified you of a change in accordance with this section. By purchasing a subscription you expressly consent to recurring charges until you cancel.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Where we do, we will give you advance notice by email or through the Service before the change takes effect, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. If you do not wish to pay the new price, you may cancel before that renewal.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers acting on our behalf. The provider currently used is Stripe; we may add, replace or use additional providers (including, without limitation, Antom) in order to process payments in different markets or currencies. Card and payment-instrument details are submitted directly to the payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number or cardholder data. We do retain limited billing records such as your customer and subscription identifiers, plan, billing interval, renewal date and payment status.

Taxes. Prices are shown exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties or levies, unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase that are not collected by us or our payment provider.

Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend access to paid features until payment is completed. We will normally notify you at the contact address associated with your account before or when suspending access.

7. Cancellation, Refunds and Withdrawal

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Plan & Billing page or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Your access to paid features continues until the end of that period. Cancelling is not a request for a refund of the current period.

No refund for the current period. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where we choose to grant one. This policy is stated at the point of purchase.

Immediate supply and waiver of the right of withdrawal. The Service is digital content supplied immediately. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal (for example, the 14-day right applicable to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom), you expressly request and consent to immediate performance of the contract and to immediate access to the digital content and paid features, and you acknowledge that by doing so you lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You may still cancel at any time in accordance with this section.

Consumer rights preserved. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable right or remedy you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including any right to a refund where the Service is not supplied in conformity with the contract.

Billing questions. For any billing enquiry, contact [email protected]. Where a billing dispute cannot be resolved with us, you may also be able to raise it with your card issuer or payment provider.

8. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent or unauthorised purpose
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, damage or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Access the Service using automated tools, scrapers, crawlers, bots or bulk extraction methods except as expressly permitted by us in writing
• Collect, harvest, copy, republish or resell data obtained from the Service except as expressly permitted by us in writing
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code or underlying data structures of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law
• Circumvent, disable or evade any plan limits, access controls, paywalls, usage quotas or security features
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, defraud or harm others, or to violate any applicable law or regulation

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached this section, in accordance with Section 18.

9. Your Data and Linked Accounts

Certain features require you to provide or link additional information, including Steam inventory accounts, a Steam trade URL, an email address, and Discord or Telegram notification channels. You confirm that you are entitled to provide any account, link or identifier you submit, and that you hold any third party's consent required for us to access the data in question.

Where you link a Steam account, you authorise us to retrieve publicly available inventory data for that account in order to value your holdings, display them to you, and generate the reports and alerts you have enabled. This data is shown only to you and is not published.

Where you provide a Steam trade URL, it is stored so that it can be displayed back to you and used for future item-related workflows that you initiate. You should treat a trade URL as sensitive credential material and never share it publicly.

Content and configuration you create in the Service (for example collections, wantlist entries, alert rules and notification preferences) remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display it solely to the extent necessary to operate and provide the Service to you, including transmitting it to the notification channels you enable as described in Section 10.

10. Notifications and Third-Party Channels

The Service can send you alerts and reports. Delivery depends on your plan and on the channels you have configured in your account.

Your consent. By binding a channel (email, Discord or Telegram) and enabling notifications for it, you consent to receiving the corresponding messages, which may include item names, prices, and summaries of your linked inventory and portfolio valuation. You can disable any channel or individual notification type at any time from your account settings. Plan-related notices about your subscription are service messages and are sent regardless of your notification preferences.

Third-party delivery. If you choose to receive notifications through Discord or Telegram, the content of those messages — which can include details of the items and holdings in your linked accounts — is transmitted to and processed by Discord Inc. and/or Telegram respectively, under their own terms and privacy policies. Content transmitted this way is stored on their platforms and is subject to their controls, not ours. If you do not wish your portfolio information to leave our platform, do not bind those channels and use email notifications or on-site features instead.

11. Market Data, Alerts and No Financial or Trading Advice

Price information, historical charts, indices, leaderboards, calculated spreads and arbitrage opportunities, valuation figures, alerts and reports are derived from third-party sources and from our own calculations. They are provided for general information only.

No guarantee of accuracy. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of any price, valuation, index or calculated figure. Prices are aggregated from multiple marketplaces and may be stale, may not be executable, and may differ significantly from prices actually available to you. Third-party sources may change, suspend or withdraw their data at any time, which can affect, interrupt or permanently remove a feature.

No advice. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy or sell any item, and no output of the Service should be relied upon as such. Arbitrage and alert outputs identify possible price differences only; they do not confirm that any trade can be executed, that a counterparty exists, or that fees, taxes, transfer restrictions or counterparty risk have been accounted for.

Your responsibility. Any decision you make, and any transaction you enter into with any third party, is your own. You are solely responsible for verifying prices, counterparties and the terms of any trade directly with the relevant marketplace before acting. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any trading or investment loss arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the Service.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, functionality, design, software and compiled data are owned by SeekSkins or its licensors and are protected by copyright, database, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

Game assets, item names and related imagery are the property of Valve Corporation and are used for identification and informational purposes. Other third-party names and marks, including Steam, Discord, Telegram and Stripe, belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. No endorsement or affiliation is implied.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service depends on and contains links to third-party websites, platforms and services that are not owned or controlled by SeekSkins, including Steam, payment providers, notification platforms and marketplace data sources. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, their content, availability, policies or practices.

You acknowledge and agree that SeekSkins shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by, or in connection with, your use of any third-party content, goods or services.

14. Availability and Changes to the Service

The Service is provided on an evolving basis. We may modify, add, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including features, data sources and integrations, and may perform maintenance that causes temporary unavailability. Where a change materially reduces the features included in a paid plan you are currently paying for, Section 5 applies.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will function uninterrupted, securely or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Any price, valuation, index, alert or other result obtained from the Service will be accurate, complete, timely or reliable
• Any third-party data source will remain available

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SEEKSKINS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, ITEMS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under those provisions.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SeekSkins and its licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of the rights of any third party, including any claim arising from an account, link or trade URL you submitted without authorisation. This obligation does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own breach or negligence, and does not limit any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

18. Term, Suspension and Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. Paid features continue for the period you have paid for, subject to these Terms.

Termination by us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have materially breached these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your account is being used in a way that exposes us, other users or third parties to harm or legal risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue first.

Termination by you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions: cancelling stops future renewals but does not delete your data. On a verified account deletion request we will delete or anonymise your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention obligations.

Effect. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 20 and 22 — remain in effect.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or replace these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion, for example to reflect changes in the Service, in our plans, or in applicable law. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

Where a change is material — in particular a change to subscription pricing, to renewal terms, or to the scope of your rights or our obligations — we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or through the Service before it takes effect. Changes will not apply retroactively, and if you do not agree to a material change you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts of Hong Kong shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Mandatory consumer protections preserved. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer protection laws apply to your use of the Service, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection afforded to you by those provisions, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law of that country gives you the right to do so. Nothing in this section limits your right to raise a dispute with a competent consumer body or supervisory authority.

21. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and the plan details shown on the Pricing page, constitute the entire agreement between you and SeekSkins regarding the use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements between you and SeekSkins relating to the Service.
