BCG Issues Official Statement on New VRS Rules: We Are Willing to Start From Scratch in the Asian Region

BCG issues an official statement on the new VRS regulations and proposes a solution:

Over the past few days we have been reading all the discussions about BCG, our Asian VRS ranking, and the Major. We understand why Valve introduced stricter regional rules. The integrity of the system must be protected, and we respect that. But what is hard for us to accept is that our situation is being treated the same as every other case. Our current roster includes three Asian players (asap, mzinho and Senzu), three players who have already competed at the highest level of Asian Counter-Strike. This is our core. These are the players we trust.

So, instead of arguing about old points, interpretations, or technical details, we want to propose what we believe is the fairest solution. Take away all of our points. Reset BC Game to 0 VRS points and let asap, mzinho, Senzu, s1mple and Magisk start from zero. No prior ranking. No inherited points. No advantage whatsoever. Only what these five players achieve from this moment on will count. If a brand new organization entered Counter-Strike today with these five players, this is how they would be treated. We are not asking to be treated better than anyone else. We are only asking not to be treated worse. Give us the same starting point: zero.

We have about three weeks left, and we understand that it may actually be impossible to accumulate enough VRS points in this time. We are ready to take on this challenge. If we cannot accumulate enough points, we will not go to the Major. We accept that.
