Analyst Pimp assessed Team Falcons' current roster on the Hot Take Point Made podcast, suggesting NiKo could replace karrigan as the in-game leader in the future.
Regarding the invitation to karrigan
Pimp：I think it's a good idea to invite karrigan to Falcons. You know, that's exactly what they need. They have to cross this hurdle. If they don't, they'll be stuck in a cycle of continuous failures—unable to win Majors and so on. No one can take away the Cologne Major title. But if we're looking at Falcons' future success, and if I were the general manager of Falcons—which is why I love this segment of the show, because I can voice my own silly ideas out loud—I would look at the future of this lineup. If I want Falcons to be a team that can beat everyone, if I want Falcons to firmly secure the number one spot in the world, or even forge a new dynasty, I believe they have the foundation for it. But with karrigan as the IGL and playing the way he currently does, that won't be achieved.
About letting NiKo take on the IGL role
Pimp: From everyone I've spoken to who has either played against or worked with NiKo, they all say he will become the best in-game leader in the world. When he decided to transition into this role, I thought NiKo should lead because it has the potential to make Falcons the best team in the world, perhaps even defining a new dynasty. What harm could there be in moving him to the IGL position, removing karrigan, and signing a rookie to bolster firepower?
About karrigan transitioning to coaching
Pimp: At least consider this option—find out if Karrigan would be willing to become a coach. What’s the harm in that? You know, it aligns with everything Zonic said publicly: before signing a new contract with any team—whether Falcons or elsewhere—he needs to sort out family matters, figure out if he still wants to coach, and so on. We all dream of the day Karrigan ends his career, perhaps as the greatest in-game leader of all time, and then becomes a coach. So why not make it happen at Falcons?
About Team Falcons' Future
Pimp: I firmly believe that Falcons can win a trophy with their current roster. I also think they will become a force to be reckoned with at the Major. I'm not saying that karrigan doesn't have the ability to lead Falcons to a trophy. What I'm saying is, if Falcons want to become a dominant world power, then the key is in your hands. If you are now the general manager of Falcons, the key is in your hands. You have the players, you have the foundation, and you want a team with the potential to define the next dynasty. Then you need to let go of karrigan, move him to assistant coach, or have him serve as head coach—however you want to arrange it. He will be a tremendous asset. You need to ensure he stays with the team until 2027.
