When discussing Falcons winning the Major championship and the team's current state, apEX stated that he does not believe the way Falcons won during the Major can be sustained in the long term.

apEX: If you want me to be fully honest, I said after the Major that their way of winning the championship is not that sustainable in the long run. I didn't think they could continue to win more championships later.
Of course, Finn (karrigan) is currently struggling, as his personal form isn't at its best. It even gets to the point where some players openly say in interviews: 'We just target his bomb sites because we know he's weaker.' This is becoming a bit of a problem.
Because as it stands, his individual performance hasn't been good enough. Of course, we all know karrigan was never the top player on the stat sheets; he's an in-game leader. But even so, he used to be able to pull off some critical kills on his part of the map, and now that happens even less frequently.
Looking back at Falcons' Major journey, they almost needed every player to perform exceptionally well. m0NESY delivered an outstanding tournament, NiKo's performance was noticeably improved—possibly his best of the year—and kyousuke also performed exceptionally well.
So my feeling is, they needed too many things to come together at once in order to finally win that championship.
