Wicadia: I Have Ideas But Can't Get Them Out Because I Need to Translate in My Head First

Since Aurora transitioned to an international lineup, they have yet to achieve ideal results. After being eliminated from BLAST Open Porto, Wicadia admitted in an interview that adapting to communication in English remains a challenge: "Sometimes I have the idea but I can't shout it out because I need to translate it in my mind first." He acknowledged that he tends to lose his head when falling behind, but he is also improving step by step.

Q:The team has been through a lot of changes recently, how are you feeling currently?

Wicadia: Not bad, we're getting better every day. Hope to perform even better soon.

Q:What does it feel like to switch to an English lineup?

Wicadia: To be honest, it's quite difficult. I feel like I'm slowly adapting, but sometimes in the game, I have thoughts but can't voice them because I need to mentally translate them first. I need to speak more and gradually improve.

Q: Do you speak Turkish when playing endgames?

Wicadia: Yes, we will switch back to Turkish at that time.

Q: The command system has also undergone significant changes. Do you think the new system has been helpful to you?

Wicadia: kyxsan and others all have their own ideas, and we are trying to merge them together, taking the best parts.

Q: Before the change, XANTARES struggled a bit. Has his performance improved in the new system?

Wicadia: I think he trains really hard individually, so his state has come back.

Q:And you?

Wicadia:I've gained a lot of experience, but still have a lot of room to improve.

Q: What areas do you think need improvement?

Wicadia:It's definitely mindset, and also many things in the game.

Q: What exactly does mindset refer to? Does it mean performance in large venues?

Wicadia: Not really, I don't actually care about that much. But sometimes in matches, when I'm behind, I tend to tilt too easily. That's something I need to improve on.
